When replacing the valves, the valve guides should also be checked. Damage to valves can often come from old, worn valve guides. In the case of the Fulvia valves, which are operated by rocker arms or rocker arms, knocked-out valve guides lead to increased radial force transmission on the valve stem. As a result, the valves in the puncture area for the valve wedges can break. If valve replacement is necessary, the clearance between the valve stem and the inner diameter of the guide must not exceed certain values.
