Areas of application: circuit (eg long distance race, club sports, autocross), hill-climb, rallying ... A reinforced performance clutch is distinguished from a series clutch, among other things by a higher transmissible torque and a higher insensitivity to thrust load. A shorter disengagement distance allows faster, more sporty shifting. This makes them particularly suitable for use in street tuning, long-distance racing and racing. Stiff and torsion-spring-loaded washers are used. Note: Reinforced clutch components may increase the pedaling force, while the modulation range on the clutch pedal can be reduced. Coupling and transmission noise can occur.
