- The drilled and grooved surface of the brake and the resulting higher coefficient of friction provide better performance than standard discs, especially in the early stages of braking. Therefore, the brake reacts very effectively even during the rain. The grooves that open towards the outside work in a similar way: this results in a better dissipation of the rainwater possibly adhering to the braking surface. Just like the water, the gases that develop as a result of the development of heat during braking between brake discs and linings are better dissipated thanks to the bores and grooves.
